Dear members and friends of the Cortina Astronomical Association, on behalf of the entire board I would like to wish you a happy 2022.
The balance of the year just ended is certainly positive, probably beyond our best expectations, both from an economic point of view thanks to the contributions received from the Municipality of Cortina and from CortinaBanca and, above all, because we were able to restart activities and many people visited the planetarium and the observatory.
The intentions for 2022 are to continue with enthusiasm our dissemination and observation activity and to restore the Majoni telescope (the "little one"), which is still awaiting maintenance and updates, to make it easily usable by members to photograph celestial objects.
2022 is a special year for the Cortina Astronomical Association, which turns 50! We will shortly inform you about the events organized to celebrate this important milestone.
Thank you for the support and trust you are providing us, essential to be able to continue the activity of the Association.
